The service performed was not mentioned in the preselected drop-down, but your system does not allow a different comment without choosing one of your options. It was NOT a repair. The service consisted of a garage door "tune-up", The technician was knowledgeable and courteous in the brief time he spent at my address. I don't believe the service rendered could be considered "gorgeous", although it was respectable. I was not pleased, however, that the company obviously expects its technicians to also act sales people

Outstanding service. Your technician, Mr Rob Shrieves, on the day before the work to be performed, made an onsite inspection, identified the problems, and told me exactly what parts had to be replaced .He then showed me several options that I could choose from. After making my choice, we scheduled the work for the following day. Mr Shrieves arrived as planned, and the work was performed in a timely manner, and everything Mr Shrieves said that he would do was accomplished . He virtually overhauled the entire operating system of the door. Mr Shrieves was courteous and very much the professional. The garage overhead door works perfectly.

We were very pleased with Precision. The spring on our garage door broke on Sunday morning and we were unable to get the door open manually. We found Precision on-line and called their emergency number, we received a return call within an hour and were told a repair man would be out between 3 and 5 that afternoon. At 3 we received a call that he was on his way and that he would be at our house in 30 minutes, he arrived at 3:30 and replaced the springs and opener motor, which came with a lifetime guarantee, gave me maintenance instructions and was done by 5:30. I did not have to pay a premium for Sunday service and Clint the repairman was very professional and helpful. The price was not inexpensive but I felt we did receive a good value.

I got a great deal on a exterior key pad through Angie's List. Scheduling an appointment with Precision was excellent and on the day of the service call, Nick called ahead to ask if he could arrive early. I've never had a company arrive early and normally I'm surprised if they show on time. Nick installed the equipment quickly and efficiently and my Wife told me Nick is a cool guy. I'd give 5 stars, but I don't like the price of an additional mobile remote opener for $54.00, but that's just me.

It is pretty bad when you hire a company to come in and install a key pad and the first thing they do is look at your garage doors and immediately tell you what is wrong with them and use scare tactics to get you to spend $500 to $650 to fix everything they say is wrong. Had to stop him and tell him he was hired to install a key pad.

Our technicians are trained to always inspect a garage door system upon arrival, and to let the customer know if there are any issues that should be handled. This is done to ensure that we are not leaving a garage door in a dangerous state as well as ensuring that at the very least, the customer is fully informed. A large majority of the doors pass with flying colors, but unfortunately there are some that should have some work done to prevent future issues - both large and small. I'm sorry that you felt it was a scare tactic. Our technicians would never intentionally try to frighten a customer. We believe in being very forthright and honest regarding the condition of your door, although sometimes the news is not what the customer was hoping to hear. Although I have not made a final decision yet, my experience with Clint today was 5 stars! He was thorough, professional, and answered all my questions. There was no pressure to choose a certain product, and I was left feeling confident that I would be making a wise, sound investment to purchase a new door with Precision.

I would highly recommend precision door. I had broken spring and Clint came out on Sunday and fixed the door very quickly. After talking to Clint about my options and the cost and benefits of each, I went with the lifetime warranty on the rollers, springs, and cables. Just with those replaced, the door has ran quieter than I have ever heard it. Clint was great and very knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout the repair. He showed me how to perform maintenance of the springs and rollers and what kind of lubricant to use. When the dispatcher told me a 2 hour window, I was expecting the tech to come closer to the end time, he actually showed up a few minutes before the window which was an added bonus of not having to wait around. Another benefit was seeing how fully stocked the trucks are, it was great knowing that he had all the parts on hand and we were talking about the current opener and replacing it eventually, he showed me the 1 piece rail belt drive on the truck(In my opinion, that was above and beyond then just showing a brochure). After seeing the one piece rail compared to my 3 piece, I am sure the next opener I buy is going to be from precision, and he said that the opener has a lifetime warranty as well(added bonus). I found precision door though homeadvisor.com with 5 star ratings and at the top of the list, with the service and expertise I experienced that day, I have no doubt why they repeatedly get 5 stars.
