I had a spring break on my garage door so I called Precision to schedule an appointment. They had service technicians to my house in less than 2 hours from my call. The technicians were very professional, replaced the spring, and checked all of the other mechanical workings of the door to assure that is was safe. In this day and age where 'customer service' is a thing of the past as far as most businesses are concerned, that is not the case with Precision Door. Last night I used their chat service to describe our problem (a spring had broken) I was greatly surprised that they would have someone out the next morning. Randy arrived and replaced both springs and both cables, as well as adjusted the door so that it was flush with the concrete. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend this company.

The technician was very nice, and obviously knew what he was doing. I feel that the amount of material(parts) he used cost far less than my cost of $350.00.He installed three metal cables, about 7 ft. long,and two pulleys, plus three tension springs. He also reconnected a pulley that slipped out of place. He was here about one hour. The next time I have a problem with the door I will get at least three estimates before I proceed with the repairs. I have no complaints about the technician, just the cost of labor,which in my opinion was two thirds of the total cost.

I am very pleased with the service I received from my repair person. Richard was very well prepared for the appointment, eventhough I gave him nothing but the most basic description of the fault. Richard had to order the replacement part which was delivered several day in advance of his prediction. I did not know at the time, but Richard scheduled the appointment for the repair on a day-off for him but a date that convenient for me and my wife. Until the day after the repair was finished, we did not know it was his day off. Finally, he was a delight to speak with him. He explained every thing to me in terms I understood. American service should be delivered in this manner. Perhaps we would catch South Korea in satisfaction and China in growth of GDP.
