Precision Garage Door is an excellent company. I've used them 2 times. They were the only ones that responded to my Yelp request, and they came out the same day. The first time was a repair of squeaking in the springs but there was a discussion of replacing the out-of-date springs and parts as they were old and worn out. Two months later, that happened. I called, they came, and in 2 hours I had new updated springs and parts. Their repair people are professional, knowledgeable of garage conditions, fast, cleaned up after, and seem to be reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company.

I chose Precision because of their Google rating of 4+ stars and good reviews. Good - I was given a next day appointment and the Installer (Andrew) was great working with me on his time of arrival. The two new springs were in and working fine in about an hour. Not so good - I was told on the phone that the replacement springs were $179 each. But when Andrew came to the house I was informed they were $220 each. Ouch!

This is the kind of business I missed. Covid set everything on it's ear, in the absolute worst way. But this felt normal, it felt right. We were so happy to be able to schedule service for our garage door after the spring broke, trapping our cars in the garage. Andrew was great at communicating his plan for the repairs, gave us different options to consider, and was respectful of our home and time. Due to the weight of the door, he had to find a coworker to come and help, and we were pleased when another tech arrived in short order. Andrew recognized issues that may cause future problems with supporting the door and made recommendations for the repairs. I ve wrestled with my garage door for years. When it became stuck, thankfully my car was outside! I checked three garage door sites. All wanted EMERGENCY FEE. Except this PRECISION site. I saw 5 star ?? ratings and nothing negative stated. The tech showed up, on SUNDAY of MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, happy, informative, understanding how and what happened. Told me how much for temporary, Unguaranteed fix; I’m just so done with garage door battles! After clearly stated quotes, I opted for lifetime guarantee of all movable parts, and replaced opener. I’m one VERY HAPPY OLD LADY???? After the fact, I discover two of my sisters used PRECISION GARAGE DOOR and were very pleased. I’ve already referred two people to you. The lifetime guarantee on parts and labor SOLD ME. One time transfer! Mitch , kudos to you and your helpful, patient , kind and KNOWLEDGEABLE attitude.
