Precision worked with me on my contingency plan for the installment date. Every few weeks, I would get a note or a phone call to check for final installment date. When the time finally arrived, they were extremely professional as to the date time in which they would arrive. Good clean work and the installment team had beautiful manners. No communication between telephone sales & technician. I called twice on 9-9-16 and received an acceptable quote the 2nd time. (I knew door size & hp requirements). Appointment set-up for 9-12-16 am. Technician gave me his estimate which was approximately $250.00 more than quote over phone. Wasted time before technician could meet my quoted price which was met and installation began. The technician was experienced and worked non-stop until installation was complete. He checked & tested his installation and advised me of all operating procedures & left all paperwork. I am happy with both the technician's installation and the product (2 belt drive openers).

My door wasn't opening because the bar that pulls the door up was somehow triggered. I couldn't get it (too heavy) in the "start" position. All the technician had to do was flip a switch like metal piece a quarter turn and...wallah. It was in a locked position, I guess. In and out in 10 minutes!

John, the Precision Overhead Door representative, was very polite, did a thorough job, and was personable. A guy easy to like. He did his job, as directed by the company, to see extra work done, i.e. clean and check the spring, test all anchors and bolts, check the strength of the signal .... All the extras was at increased cost. I requested an outdoor door pad so I could enter the garage without going through the house. The pad cost $72, by the time he was finished the cost came to $284. I did OK the work since I have recently moved into this home and wanted to know that the door was in good working condition. However, I thought the extra service was very pricey. There was no emergency catch on the opening mechanism so I was relieved to have it installed. The whole job was finished in 40 min. I do recommend this company for garage opener service and believe you will be very pleased with the service and result.

I first discovered Precision Door through Angie's List, and based on customer recommendations, I purchased a coupon and had the service performed. They did an excellent job and I was pleased. The charge was exactly as I purchased and the door was fine. Naturally, when I needed a new remote door opener re-programed, I used another discount with this company and scheduled an appointment for this morning. The service tech, Rich, arrived on time, but before I could even give him the new remote and tell him what I needed, he told me I needed a new garage door. I was shocked and told him the door operated fine manually - just the old remote was not working, so I had purchased a new one. He then began telling me the new remote "may not work." I answered I still had the box for the garage door opener and had purchased the compatible opener for that model. He tested the old opener and said it was dead and within ten minutes, re-programed the new one. It works fine. Again, he told me the door may not last and I needed to go ahead and purchase a new one. I called my brother, who is a building contractor, and after checking the door, said he could see nothing wrong with it. I have no problems with the service on the remote, as it is working fine, but I am leery of them trying to sell me a new door as soon as they walked toward the garage. Perhaps that is what the service techs do, but it was still unusual.

It's never what you, the customer want to hear. We inspect all doors for wear and tear. We also regret that a new door in your future was not pleasant to hear.
