Aaron came right on time today. He explained at length exactly what was wrong and what would be needed to correct the problems with our garage doors. He pointed out all the problems and explained it clearly. He will come back on Wednesday and do the repairs as well as putting in a key pad for my husband's Fathers Day gift. Aaron was the most professional person I have met with in a long time. We are your latest fans. So far we have been very pleased. Despite the terrible weather and the icy road conditions, Eric arrived on time, gave me my options for the repairs, made the repairs, and showed me the results. He also made some additional recommendations. It was Eric's professionalism that caused me to follow his recommendations and purchase the repairs with a 10 year warranty.

One of our two garage doors unexpectedly became nonfunctional this morning. We called Precision to arrange service, and a technician, Eric, came out in the afternoon. We decided to have a "rebuild" package done on both garage doors. Eric was a very pleasant and professional technician, who explained the options and clearly knew what he was doing. Both doors are working very smoothly and well now.

I had a garage door tune-up completed by Kenneth from precision Garage Door as they started making creaking noises. Kenneth had installed them in 2012 and did an exemplary job on the installation. The tune-up process far exceeded my expectations. I will get a tune-up every year to avoid any future repair issues and highly recommend this service.

The service seemed solid but was way over priced and we will NOT use this company again nor would we recommend this company to others in the Triangle area. We had a spring break in a 2-door garage and were given just two options for repair, upgrade the existing spring system for $580 + tax with a lifetime warranty or replace the springs for $480 with a 5-year warranty. There was no discussion by the technician whether the existing spring system needed replacement, or why the cost of replacement was so high since the time to replace the springs was just an hour and the springs themselves are inexpensive. (The answer given was that "we use the highest quality parts" which was useless information.) After the repair, my wife and I looked more carefully at available options to get a broken spring repaired and saw that $200-300 total was a more typical price.

Sometimes this means addressing what caused the part to fail instead of just replacing it. These repairs will cost more but we feel that repairing the entire door will provide our customers with many years of worry free garage door usage.
