I called Precision because my garage door would close completely. It would go down about 3/4 of the way then back up. Brent Huffman was the tech who came out to reseArch the issue. He checked the electric eyes and recommended keeping the area clear around the eyes. He then inspected and serviced the door. He then inspected the opener and found out that it was the problem. He recommended that the opener be replaced so the problem would not continue. Brent was very courteous and professional the entire time. After installing the new opener, he checked with the office to make sure my total bill was correct. Anyone who has Brent as a tech will be very grateful he came to their aid.

I required 2 service calls in the last 3 weeks - first was to install a new atomatice garage door opener (motor, chain and bar), the second call was to correct the sensors to allow the door to close using the remote button, keypad or control. Both times the guy arrived on time, completed the work efficiently, and explained what was done. 2 minor issues: (1) I was supposed to get an email receipt, which did not happen - had to call to get one. (2) One remote control came with the purchase, but additional ones were pricey (over $50 for two). I bought a 2-pack online for $28.00.

I am very concerned about the high cost ($684.80) compared to time spent doing the repair (35 mins.). Actually half of that 35 mins was used for inspection and preparing and discussing three estimates and one invoice. Also, I’m concerned about not getting the materials installed that I purchased. The installer (Jason) was very nice and did a quick repair. He was maybe more aggressive in trying to pressure me into buying more parts and services ($1000.00) that I didn’t need. I called Precision because I was unable to contact my garage door company and my car was unable to be removed from the garage with the door broken. I selected Precision because of their advertisement having the word “Trust”. The repair was performed on 9/21, I paid on 9/21, I received the invoice by email on 9/22, after requesting via phone. I reached out to Precision 3 days later to talk to the owner. I was told that Rick would contact me. I’ve heard nothing from from Precision as of this date.

Price that was quoted was way to high,, I went with company that a neighbor told me about that has been in business for over 70 years . This other company was over $350 less then what you're company quoted me !!! You had a boss call me up after I turned away the tech to ask why I did not go with you ,,, told him price was way out of line and then he trys to ask me what do I know about garage door openers ?? Well I know enough when I feel like I'm getting scammed or about to be bent over a barrel.

Shawn is a very nice guy and courteous, (5 star for him). He knew what he was doing and fixed what we needed to have done. He did a job on it as to what should of been done in the first place when we purchased the garage door. The plate used to hold the screws on the piece that goes back and forth to let the garage door go up and down had four holes in it, but only two screws were used. This caused it to pull, because it was not secure or tough enough after a couple of years to stay put, so it tore the metal door and both came off. If it would of had all four screws, then it would not have happened and been more secure for a metal heavy garage door. Because of this, we had to have him come out and we pay more money to have it done correctly and most of all more secure, which is a shame that it happened. All in all Shawn did a great job! We are not happy that this had to happen with two screws instead of four (Shawn added a nice metal plate as well to make it more secure) that should of been used in the first place when we purchased the new door a couple of years ago. (2 star rating)

Thomas came out and gave us three quotes for fixing and service if garage door. Gave us a choice without pressuring us to select the one that cost the most. Both garage doors needed replacing. I called 5 companies and they were the only ones to call me back. I checked with the Better Business Bureau and they had no negative comments only favorable ones. The price was excellent and the service was above and beyond. Jessie was the installer and he took out 2 doors and all the hardware and everything new up and running perfectly in 2 hours! great company to do business with!

I will use Presicion again for sure. Based on my first experience, I couldn’t ask for more. The technician called ahead of time, called when the map sent him to the wrong location, and then gave a treat to my dog upon arrival. In addition, my door is fixed without any waster of time and my other doors were lubricated, including a lesson on what places I needed to do once a year. The advertisement of being open 24/7 was my first draw in and the second was reading the reviews posted on the web site.
