Our garage door broke at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon. The repairmen from Precision were at the house within an hour and fixed the problem as well as doing maintenance on some other basic parts. I was very pleased with the work. The total price was higher than I expected, but I was thrilled to get the job done before the weekend.

The technician came yesterday and oiled etc. Thus morning the door went up and just like yesterday and the day before, it would not go down! This is not good. The door works when it is warm but not cold. It is only 3 years old. Last winter we had the same problem!!!!!

Technician was excellent. Arrived almost an hour later then I thought. My appointment was at 8 and he did not get here till almost 9. I don't think that this was technicians fault but a misunderstanding in scheduling. When I was asked whether I wanted a 8, 10 or 12 appt I chose 8 because I needed to be at work at 10. It was not made clear to me that it would be an 8-10 window. Definitely not technician error.

I was referred to Precision Garage Door by a friend. Mr. Kenneth Mills was the technician who came to my home to service/repair my garage door. He was very polite, personable, and professional. He took the time to clearly explain the various repair options and the associated costs. I'm extremely pleased with the work that was done, and my garage door performs better than it ever has. The service was completed very quickly. I am surprised by the cost of the service of $142, a $75 charge for the service call and $67 in service charges and taxes. I do not contest the tax charges, however I believe the $49.95 service charge for the adjustment that allows the door to go all the way down is exorbitant. The service man used my ladder to a press two buttons in the overhead area and then the door then worked fine This took all of 5 to 10 minutes. This amounts to almost $300 per hour for the adjustment. He then said he was to lubricate the door apparatus which I had not asked for. But I notice that along with that other adjustments were listed on the invoice. Since the door is quite new, installed by you, I don't understand why such services as these were needed. Occasionally, our customer's older equipment that's connected to our new door malfunctions. We teach our technicians to always leave a garage better than they found it.
