4 1/2 Stars. After an initial hiccup regarding our appointment, our technician showed up (Mr Hidy, himself), completed the agreed to work, and even offered a modest discount for the aforementioned hiccup. Precision is a bit more expensive than their competitors, but that is because they offer a warranty that no other local company can touch -- life time on materials. And when they (i.e., new springs) do fail again, they will replace them for the cost of a preventive maintenance Service Call . . . and they'll do the preventive maintenance to boot. If you intend to stay in your house for another 10+ years, your garage door springs are bound to reach their limit. In the long run, I believe Precision offers the best "bang for the buck" if you plan not to move.

My husband and I are moving out of state. I was away recently and upon returning, our garage door had stopped working correctly. Not that we could have fixed it ourselves by any means, but manuals for all of our appliances, etc. are already packed up. We had purchased our garage door from Precision Door Service and were quite happy with the door and installation. Because of that, I called them again. I was fortunate in that they sent out their service man, AUSTIN HITCH. I'm sure their other service representatives are just as good, but I was very impressed with AUSTIN. He fixed this, that, and the other things and BAM!, he was done--it took him 15 minutes, if that. He was extremely polite and professional. He absolutely knew what he was doing. I am collecting names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. of exceptional companies we've used over the years for the new homeowners. Precision Doors will definitely be on that list.

This is the second time that we have used your company and the first time we used your company we were very pleased with everything but this time you didn't even do anything you came out and said well I can't fix that and charged 75 dollars for nothing. I have already given your company of 600 dollars worth of business and I get charge 75 dollars for literally nothing

Original phone call was handled professionally and appointment was made immediately. "Dan" arrived and fixed my spring with ease. He was professional, knowledgeable and fast. He even attempted to help me find a "clicker" for another garage door opener that I own. He was a class act and arrived on time. He should be promoted to a management position.

Customers just want what is broken fixed for a fair price. The repair was done same day. The service person knew exactly what to do and explained to me what caused the issue and how to avoid it from happening again. The repair cost was more then fair. Good Job!

My wife picks up our grandson at 3:00pm Monday-Friday. This day she was doing some shopping before picking him up. I was out on a honeydoo shop and get a call from her saying the garage door will not open. I went home and found that one on the springs was broken. I called Precision, and they were on site in less than 30 minutes (they knew we were in trouble). After changing the springs, and my wife getting her car out of the garage, the installer, not happy with the results, took everything apart again and put on a larger spring to make the job 100%. Are you kidding me!!!! He could have just left, but he felt the better spring would help everything last longer including the motor. I hope if you use Precision, you are as happy as I am.

Spring broke on a Friday afternoon. Called and scheduled an appointment for 10-12 the next day. Came as scheduled and garage door was fixed within 30 minutes. I will always use them for my garage door needs and recommend them highly. 5 stars

I closed the garage door on a recycling bin and it jarred the wheel on one side out of the track. The tech fixed that, tightened all the bolts (which were loose), inspected the springs, etc. I said I was going to move the recycling bin to my side porch. After my bill was settled he offered to move the bin, and did so. I appreciated that.

Precision is an OUTSTANDING company! They are a business of integrity (not so easily found anymore). Whenever we've called them, they've arrived quickly and work very efficiently. This past week we had a new garage door installed and it looks fantastic. They are honest, friendly, and very knowledgeable servicemen. I highly recommend them and regret that we didn't know about them 10 years ago. . .I'll never use any other company for my garage door service.
