My garage door wall button had died and I had problems with the garage door staying closed because of work being done on the cement floor. Two spring replacements for $704.00 seems a bit excessive. I guarantee you this was my first contact and definitely my last contact with Precision Garage Door. The employee was at my home less than an hour and charged me 1.5 hours of labor. When I questioned this the employee replied, “This is the rate we get for installing two springs.” I Would not recommend this company to anyone!

Hi Tom, The labor charge quoted includes drive time. Unfortunately the garage required springs that had higher costs than standard springs. The current economic situation is also causing the costs of some items to be significantly higher resulting in some higher prices for specific items. That seems to be the case for your repair.

Gerry was very professional new exactly what he was doing and you would expect that from any company. What has me not so happy is what they charged 726.84 for two torsion springs which were a smaller spring than what was on my door because the didn’t have the correct size on their truck also two drum cables . They charged me 175.00 for cables that cost 10.00 dollars and I could buy correct springs online for 200.00 for the pair so 210.00 for parts and 516.00 labor boy did I get ripped off plus never mentioned 15.00 dollars off coupon online

From start to finish, the process with Precision was completely and totally professional. My estimate was scheduled for the next day after I called, the door was to be installed within 10 -15 weeks (because of Covid complications) but is installed in less than 3 weeks, and Gerry, the installer, was highly skilled, professional, and an all around nice guy. I'm 100% pleased with the whole process, including how terrific my new door looks and performs.

We were without access to the garage for several months (since 5/19) so I was excited to see the delivery truck arrive early AM (8/17), and surprised to see one person to do the job (double garage door - removal of non working original and install of new).
