This morning (02/20/23) my wife heard a big bang upon closure of the driveway as we drove away. Upon return I tried to open the Garage door to see if something heavy fell in the Garage. That's when we found we could not open the door from the outside or the inside. I called over a friend to inspect. He suspected the door spring had broken. Upon inspection he confirmed the same and asked that I call a professional to repair it as it required specialty work. That's when I googled and called Precision Garage Door Sevice at 2408355130. Call was picked up promptly by Ms. Molly who scheduled a Technician named Derrick to repair our door between 1-5 PM with a call back from the Technician within 15 minutes. Derrick came over at 1:50 PM with a call at 1:37 PM. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, courteous and professional. He performed a 25 point inspection and provided me with 3 options for repair. I went with the "Best" option. He replaced the single spring with 2 springs, replaced the plastic wheels with Neoprene wheels, replaced the frailed cable, replaced some broken hinges and reinforced the door. He had the job done within an hour. It cost us $1,153.28 with a 3-Year warranty. He asked me to lubricate the springs generously with my WD40 and the hinges and bearings with a WD40 White Lithium Grease every 3-6 months or when the bearings get noisy. He left a can of a silicone grease for me to use on the bearings and hinges. All told I was more than satisfied with the work of Derrick. I recommend his and his Company's service.

My experience was not a good one. My garage door was partially working when Precision Rep arrived.The motor was damaged after adjustments and was not working at all when Precision left. Looks like I will need another motor. I don't plan on recommending Precision to any of my neighbors and will not be using them in the future.
