My garage door was not opening/closing, and the technician came to repair it for $200, but after “repairing” it, our garage door made weird, loud noises when opening and closing the garage door. Then I tried to open the garage door 2 days later and it broke again. I spoke with a rep online, and was assured that a technician would come out to fix the problem at no extra cost, as it was a callback. But on the day of the appointment, I received a call that my system was too old and I would have to pay over $1000 for a new system. I asked for a refund because they did not even come out to check on the problem, and why they charged me $200 for a half-assed job knowing that the garage door wasn’t completely fixed and my system was too old. They refused to give me a refund and offered a credit ONLY if I paid for the new system. I got frustrated, ended the call, and looked up a tutorial on YouTube and fixed my “old system” in less than 15 minutes. I was fooled by the amount of good reviews that I would be receiving a professional service but received the complete opposite. Would not recommend to anyone, very shady business.

Question answers: 1) I am very impressed with David who serviced my garage doors. 2) Yes, you solved my problem which seemed to be lining up the garage sensors. 3) David who represented Precision was definitely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about my garage issues. 4) David was helpful because he diagnosed the sensor error. 5) I choose Precision Garage because they were locally owned & I like supporting in my community. I really like them now knowing that the company will take care of the garage issues withing a reasonable time. I was scheduled the next day and it was Saturday. David took the time to show me how to realign the sensors, which was a good trick to learn.

Good price for the door. The technician was a very good worker and replaced my old garage door and the new door looks & performs great. He explained some of the things to look out for as far as operating the latch and when to lubricate the door hinges, rollers, springs and bearings.

The workman who came out was very pleasant. The news he gave was very disheartening. I felt cheated by precision who installed this door for me about two years ago or less than two years ago, and the motor is broken or whatever and this was supposed to be an upgrade from what I previously had . I spent almost $1000 to get this door installation two years ago you now quoted me 500 and something dollars to repair part of it. That is unacceptable. Why would you sell somebody something that is gonna go bad and not try to cover part of the costs to correct. the last door I had I had it for 15 years. I’m very disappointed. I’ll never do business with you again. Anybody asked me? I’ll tell them never do business with precision. If you do this is what you can expect , thank you for the opportunity to share my satisfaction .
