First and Foremost, the 2 Star review doesn't reflect the service or the tech that came out to our location. He was incredibly nice and detailed in his explanation for the repairs. The thing that has led me to negatively review the company and service is that my initial call out to Precision led to an incorrect or more accurately blatantly false quote of $320 for parts and labor for a repair on the torsion spring that was broken in my garage. I gave the rep all the information that was asked for including the fact that it was a 2-door garage so having 2 torsion springs should've been a given. The tech that came out to my house today tells me that they always replace both springs (as they should) and quoted me for $640 (320 for each spring). I was led to believe that the repair would be for $320 so obviously this comes as a shock to me. Since I'm the landlord for the home, I needed to have this fixed today for my tenants - so I agreed to have it fixed for that amount. As great as the actual tech that came out to my home was, I can't help but feel like I was baited into thinking that this repair would be cheaper than the actual amount that I was charged. As great as the work and service is, I can't help but feel as though I was given false information from the start. Regardless of whatever quality work or product I might be getting, it almost feels like a bait and switch with the way they communicated the pricing.

If I could edit my star rating on this back to 5 stars, I would. After having posted this review, a customer service manager reached out to thoroughly go through what had happened and helped to resolve the original misunderstanding and issue that prompted me to leave the original review. Overall the service the tech provided day-of was great and their level of customer service in making sure that I was satisfied with every aspect of the service even after the job was done was stellar. They really listened to what I had to say and took the time to look into the issue. I can now say with full confidence that I'd have no problem returning to Precision for my next garage repair and recommend it anyone who's looking for quality not only in product but also the quality in customer service.
