Snowed like crazy, power went out, tried to open garage door spring was broken….and it was Saturday. Called 2 companies I have heard about, they we all closed. Called Precision after looking in an old phone book. A live person answered !! She asked a few question and sent a repair person in ONE hour. 45 minutes later it was repaired.

Fantastic experience this morning! One of our springs snapped last night and Precision was out the next morning at 9:00am! Our technician, Raymond, was outstanding! He was very professional and didn’t waste time at all. He evaluated what needed to be done, educated me as to what happened (wrong size springs put on last time by a different company, less than 5-years ago), and got right to work. Nathan our installer did a fantastic job installing our new garage door opener. The only issues he were the lack of tools need to do the work. He was having to use a different service truck than the one he normally uses and a few tool and parts needed were not available to him. But luckily I had the tools was able for him to use so he did not have to return to their shop for those items.

I continue to be impressed with Precision. They installed a new door several months ago and did it quickly when all of the other garage door dealers were telling me that it would be 3 or 4 months before they could replace my damaged door. This week I had a problem with the door not closing all the way. The technician came out in a timely manner, found that a wire to my safety sensor was not making a good connection and in a few minutes the problem was resolved.

Precision Door expertly replaced broken hinges on my garage door in June, 2020. A couple of days ago I was experiencing our garage door not closing and the overhead light blinking. Later that same day the garage door began closing without problem. I called Precision Door to investigate what might be causing these temporary issues. The two servicemen arrived on time and checked everything and explained what may have been occurring with the light beams being blocked, etc. They were very friendly and informative and will always be my preferred garage door service. Technician Patrick was knowledgeable and efficient. Our door had been struggling for awhile. It runs better than it had when we moved into our new home. I called and they came out that day. I would recommend this service. We paid for new spring installation and rollers and chain was also tightened so less than a new door. They will give you a cost before work is performed
