At first we had a faulty unit. Upon their insistence they "wanted to come out to fix the problem" My schedule is crazy so I told them two weeks out. They said they would do their best to accommodate me on my schedule. They reached out to me and fit me in a "makeable window" of time. Was able to schedule service call for next day as garage wasn’t accessible with door cable not functioning.Technician showed up on time and was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. Although it cost a lot more to repair the door than I expected, it was done well and quickly. ( a little over an hour). We did have related problems a few days later with the remotes operating properly, but the tech came back and tried to determine the problem with the door opener. It seems to be fixed now.

Technician Rich Netto did excellent job. I needed , four pulleys and a bracket with wheel replaced, plus cable tension adjusted. Also, my remote control from my 1977 garage door opener was MIA. Rich was able to repurpose an older remote, so now I have a functioning garage door opener remote again. I'm very appreciative for the service. Thank you.

Ed Dombrowski was my service technician today. I showed him my broken door, told him what happened - and he listened to everything I said. Then he inspected everything that had anything to do with my garage door, and assessed what he needed to do to make the best, most lasting repair. In one hour he replaced all the broken, and sub quality damaged parts with new parts of the highest quality, as I requested he do. Ed is a very efficient worker. He made the best, most efficient use of his time in repairing my garage door. No time was wasted on un necessary actions. "He came", "He saw", "He fixed". I could have asked for nothing more. I wish I had read the reviews before scheduling an appointment. Find someone who will give you a free estimate! This place seems like a scam built on overcharging people on purpose to get the $130 service fee "just for coming out" as many times as possible. Here is my whole experience. I had to replace a snapped cable. I was quoted $700 for the replacement of the cable and spring, which far exceeds the normal range of $200-$500. I was also quoted $1,100 for the conversion to a torsion rod system, again far exceeding the normal range of $400-$800. I felt trapped in accepting overpayment since I'd have to pay them the $130 for coming out even if I told them to go away because their quote was ridiculously high. The itemized receipt you receive is a joke. Learn from my mistake: only deal with garage repair places that will give you free estimates. That aside, the technician did an excellent, quick, and efficient job. They were obviously very knowledgeable about garage doors. They were here for ~2 hours, and I had to pay $2308 to convert two doors to a torsion rod system. If you're looking to do a similar project, find someone who will do it for $1600 or less.

We've dealt with Precision for several years, and have always been happy with the service. We just had two garage doors replaced. Initially Ed came out to inspect and he was so easy to deal with. Precision responded very quickly when our very old garage door opener died and we couldn’t close our garage door. They sent Josh V. to us just a few hours after I called and he did a wonderful job assessing and fixing the problem. We got a brand new opener the same day. Josh really knows his stuff; he even made some repairs our garage door needed that he could have ignored and left as is. He was very helpful, personable, and professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. Our new opener is wonderful and our door no longer screeches when it opens, thanks to Josh.
