The Mechanic gave it a look and tested the door saw the problem. He then worked on the door for about 15 minutes. The problem was solved. I guess you can't overwork the problem and make up work and pretend it took longer then it really needed. I paid the full price as long as it stays fixed. I would call them back. BOB

First, I was really pleased to have the technician provide same day service. Then, as I’d previously had work done by them today’s needed adjustment was no charge and completed very quickly. Hello, Chet displayed much confidence in his knowledge, experience and technical skills. He did a great job from start to finish. He explained the repairs and priced them out beforehand with and without new LiftMaster motors. New motors were not needed. For each of the two garage doors, Chet replaced the springs, rollers and cables and aligned the safety reversing sensors. I told Chet that the remote keypad worked intermittently. We tested it and determined that a replacement was the safest option. The flexible "U Shaped" bottom weatherstripping showed gapping in the corners and a tear on one of the garage doors. Chet ordered replacement weather stripping and will install it on 5/1. He also finished the job in 90 minutes, which was the duration he estimated. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome.

Hi , i would give a ZERO rating for this service that was provided to me , i called into precision door garage service with an expectation that they would repair my garage door that was damaged, i had acheduled for the repair and i specifically asked the person that i wouldn't be willing to replace the doors instead only repair them as the "precisiondoor" company advises thru their tag line, but to our surprise the service that was offered was not to the level of expertise that i would expect from this kind of a company , i would call it a day light robbery. the professional visited the house and said the garage door is beyond repair and quoted to replace the existing doors with new doors and have me a quote of $3000+ , he also charged a service fee of $110 for just visiting us and quoting the amount , i had another gentleman from other company visit the house and he made a.proper diagnosis repaired it instantly and the door which "precisiondoor" said beyond repair is repaired to the perfection without any hassles. The Precisiondoor comapny offers justice to the customers is what i heard and if it is any where true to that promise they shouldnt charge any service fee for what they did to me as it is not professional ethics to loot me with money for something they promised they could fix and gave a wrong diagnosis. i wouldnt recommend precisiondoor to any of my neighbors, not in my neighborhood nor to my friends and family. not worth the buck.

Unfortunately, your review isn't very truthful. I'm sorry for being so direct but as you discussed with both the technician and our customer service manager, your door was destroyed as its structural integrity was compromised when the ends of your door were bent at nearly a 90% angle due to the fact that somebody had backed into it. Your wife, who was in the garage with our technician agreed that the door was no longer safe especially when open. As we explained to her (and you on the phone) the weight of the door while open could cause the door to fold slightly which would cause the rollers to slip out of their holders causing the door to fall. Your review failed to mention that we were at your home for more than one hour getting the door open so your wife could get her car out and then securely closed. We only charged you $85 (not $110 you state in your review) and didn’t charge you for any labor. We provided you with estimates for new doors, since everybody was in agreement that the old door was no longer safe. We also stated that we would be happy to apply the $85 towards the cost of new doors, should you choose to go forward. We are most confused by the fact that you and your wife both emphatically agreed that you wanted safe doors, that you understood that bent metal doors loose their structural integrity when bent as much as your door was bent, and that you had stated to our customer service manager that you wanted to move forward with purchasing new doors. Clearly you found a handyman or a less-than-ethical garage door company willing to pretend that they could “fixed” your door. We will never pretend that an unrepairable door can be fixed just to make some money. For the record, we only charged you the $85 due to the fact that we spent over an hour helping you get your car out and then safely secure you door. Unfortunately, some customers’ hope of a cheap fix cloud their judgement. We sincerely hope that you replace your door with one that is structurally safe. We are, however, disappointed that you choose to not be truthful in your review.
