We tried several other garage door repair companies, who said they could come in a few days, weeks, or even had one say they could come in several months. Your response was, “We can come today”and gave us the time of arrival. The tech actually arrived early, determined and explained the problem, installed a new opener, and was very efficient and courteous. We appreciated the quick response and quality of work. Sending the name and picture of the tech who would come, was appreciated.

Arrived about a half hour early, was informed that he would be early. Reviewed the three doors in question. The first door was repaired while he was there and works great. Gave options for other two doors that needed replaced. Followed thru and was given lead time for new doors to arrive. A very productive visit with very good results.

Jerry was our service technician and he was absolutely great. I'm big on skilled people being able to clearly explain what their assessment of a problem. This should be done without bloated jargon intended to confuse the customer. This was not the case with Jerry! He expertly showed me exactly what was going on with my problem door, and not only that, but he offered 3 tiers of service options to choose from. This allowed me to compare it to my budget and make an informed decision. Thanks for the work! My Garage door is now as silent as a church mouse...oh yeah, and it actually opens up like it's supposed to!

I chose Precision because they were located close by. They definitely met my expectations. Service was for a door that wasn't closing all the time. Service was very prompt. The technician answered all my questions and explained how parts worked, showed me the problems, offered several options, and did not push with a sales pitch. Very nice and knowledgeable representative. However, I was never asked by their representative that took my information as to what kind of door I had. So when the repairman showed, he told me they do not service my type of door but that he could convert it their parts. For this I was charged $60.00. If I had been told initially they did not repair my brand, they would not have been there and I would not be out $60.

Marty, thank you for your review. As discussed with the representative that was at your home. And to bring clarity to those reading this response. We did offer to fix your brand by doing a conversation from a torquemaster spring system, to another spring system. You had made the decision to keep your torquemaster spring system, and refused the conversion repair as an option. The torquemaster spring systems are mainly used for new construction, and are builder grade material. As we confirmed over the phone yesterday, when I had reached out to you after our visit. Precision Door chooses not to fix these specific springs system, because we find that they do not meet Precision Door's standards for long term reliability, which we feel that all of our customers should have. Long lasting, quiet, and reliable garage doors. We did charge the quoted $59.00 service fee, that covers gas, our time, and a full inspection and diagnosis of your door problem. Which through the inspection, we found the issue was not the cables as was mentioned when you booked your appointment, but the springs that were inside your tube. After learning that you were unsatisfied with this quoted charge. I called to inform you that Precision Door will be returning the full $59.00 charge back to you. In which you had confirmed that this review had already been submitted prior to our phone conversation. In conclusion, I do hope your garage door problem has been resolved by now, and repaired safely. And I wish you the very best.

When my ancient garage door broke (naturally), over the holiday weekend, the door was stuck at half mast! And embarassingly crooked, to boot! Monday morning Precision answered my call quickly, with professionalism and courtesy, and sent within just a couple of hours, an exceptionally pleasant and articulate technician! Jerry cheerfully answered all my questions, and clearly(and safely) explained the plan options. The options were perfect for our needs, and pricing was extremely fair. He had replaced and fixed all of the necessary parts, and the door up and running in just over an hour! He made the whole process an easy breeze! And did great work. Now we hope to select a new door soon... and we will go nowhere else! I had an unexpectedly perfect experience, and i highly recommend this company on so many levels!
