I noticed your insert in one of the mailings to my residence. I placed the Ad on my desk as a "keeper" in case. Saturday evening upon returning home, the garage door would not function. Sunday I read your reviews and percentages and decided to call/chat. Appointment was arranged for Monday morning. Your Technician Nia gave a courtesy call as to his arrival time, which was most appreciated. He arrived within the time frame quoted. He was most professional, courteous and listened to what I had to say. He was most knowledgeable and explained whet he was doing with the inspections and options. He gave good guidance and kept me apprised of his progress. Nia is a definite asset to your Harrisburg Unit!

Precision's team was excellent and everything was great in dealing with the Company and their installers. Niya busted his butt and did what he could, so thank you Niya for doing your best. However, after the garage door install I am left with a 1" - 2" gap between door frame and siding (not installer fault.) In other words the frame didn't cover the exposed wood from removing old frame. I am told I need to call & price out siding repair to fill the gap and told nothing could be done by Precision. If I'd have known there would have been additional costs after work was complete I would have had other contractors price out work and additional work. I can't post pictures here, so I ask, if Precision is satisfied with the end result, I invite them to place their sign next to the completed project. If they would do this, I would not have to blast them with negative reviews (with pics if possible,) on HomeAdvisor/Angi list. I could let the final result speak for me. Every contractor should be proud of end result, not push off final touches & fixes on another party.

Hey Ted, Thank you for the review, Nia is a hard worker who takes great pride in his work. Most definitely an asset to Precision Door's operations. To bring clarity to the readers of this review, the 1-2 inch gap that you are referring too is from the absence of the metal drip cap around the frame. When we first came out for installation, we discovered a lot of rotted wood that had to be replaced. We found that the rotted wood was the result of the drip cap being mounted to the frame incorrectly. In order to take out the rotted wood frame we had to remove the drip cap along with it. Before starting to remove the metal drip cap and rotted wood on the day of the install, we explained that there would be gaps, because we are removing the drip cap that was attached to the rotted wood. And working on metal siding is not Precision Door's area of expertise. And we suggested looking into a contractor for the finishing touches. However we understand that explaining it, does not bring as much clarity as seeing the finished product once the framing and installation was completed. Precision Door is very happy with the way the framing and installation went. However we understand how the gap around the frame looks unpleasant. I know we spoke briefly on Tuesday 6/22 about the gap, and I left you a voicemail for our follow up call on Friday. Right now it is important for Precision Door to help find a solution with you, and for you to be satisfied with the final product. As we want you to be.
